Learn more about the Gab behind Studio Gab

I create beautiful, colorful, and bold designs and illustration for unique, colorful brands. I also make fine art celebrating Black Joy, florals, and food.

Hi, I’m Gabi!

I’m an artist who studied illustration at Ringling College of Art and Design. After graduating, I jumped into the world of freelance. In 2020, I took another leap into graphic design.

It’s been a wild ride, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I combine all of my different experiences for my freelance clients. Nowadays, I create colorful and bold and quirky illustration and design for my clients.

I also create clay things, fine art, stickers, and more for my online shop and for galleries across Florida. In Spring of 2023, I joined the Magnolia Art Xchange in Ocala as a Resident Artist!

What sets Studio Gab apart…

  1. Cultural Insight: As a Black/Latina-owned business, I bring a unique perspective and deep cultural understanding to my work. Authentic representation is key, and I strive to incorporate diverse viewpoints into every project.

  2. Navigating Diverse Spaces: I've experienced the challenges of navigating predominantly white spaces firsthand. But those experiences have made me resilient and adaptable. I'm here to support and uplift fellow Black entrepreneurs on their journey to success.

  3. Creativity at the Core: Creativity isn't just what I do—it's who I am. From graphic design to illustration, I'm passionate about bringing your vision to life in a way that truly stands out. I’m a multi-disciplinary illustrator, designer, fine artist, and most recently, community manager for a Black design collective.

  4. Community Focused: I believe in the power of community. That's why I'm all about lifting each other up. Through mentorship, collaboration, and unwavering support, I'm building a vibrant ecosystem where every voice matters.
